An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play forced TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 17th minute of the match. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 18th minute of play. After some careless play in the TAQUARI FC defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Salgado. The TAQUARI FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Salgado should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Pabla Zuniga got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilton Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Salgado when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Rodolfo Salgado in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 91st minute of play.
