A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. Baykal Yanal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Julio Vera firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 13 played minutes JFSP got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Zanette. In the 13th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moisés Novaes skillfully saved the ball. Moisés Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 20th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Cenap İğdemir sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Cenap İğdemir came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, JFSP's Cenap İğdemir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JFSP reached it. 32 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Moisés Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by JFSP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JFSP's Moisés Novaes did a great save. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moisés Novaes having to make a save. Moisés Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Saelices in the 37th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rubinho Zanette got free with Julio Vera in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Cenap İğdemir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Luiz Eduardo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Moisés Novaes in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Novaes was left in no man's land by his defense there! 57 minutes into the match, JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 59th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. JFSP's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, JFSP's goalkeeper Moisés Novaes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 73rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but JFSP's Moisés Novaes did a great save. 75 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Moisés Novaes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Baykal Yanal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When JFSP's Luiz Eduardo Lara in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. In the 88th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moisés Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th match minute, JFSP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Pires to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador played a much better game than JFSP and deserved their victory. The JFSP players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
