The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Pes Torto notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, Pes Torto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pes Torto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Araújo scored 5-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Murillo Cano notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 minutes of play, black devil's Gustavo Araújo made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 40 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After having played for 43 minutes, Pes Torto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. black devil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pes Torto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Murillo Cano managed to get in a good position for a shot. black devil's supporters rose to their feet, but Murillo Cano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gustavo Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 47th minute, which inside left pole to 8-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murillo Cano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Araújo in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Murillo Cano took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. In the 70th minute, Pes Torto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. In the 77th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Pes Torto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The black devil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Cano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Noboa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murillo Cano in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Murillo Cano made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. When the referee ended the match the black devil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
