After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Konrad Nyman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Nyman came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Algot Lindkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esbjörn Pihlgren in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Konrad Nyman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso de la Cruz to maneuver through the defense. Jörgen Lindkvist made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mario Fernandino sent off a good shot on target. Gunnar Hegg kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Konrad Nyman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Bolivia's Camilo Freixa. Camilo Freixa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Andy Lööf came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Lööf couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Mario Fernandino's late challenge caught a Juventus FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mario Fernandino helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mario Fernandino hit a great ball. Konrad Nyman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Lindkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andy Lööf made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bolivia's Julio Chicote. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Algot Lindkvist in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute, Bolivia's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Konrad Nyman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 68th play minute Konrad Nyman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Camilo Freixa. 0-5. Joshua Miralles hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Algot Lindkvist came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Juventus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Algot Lindkvist couldn't finish the play. 85 minutes into the match, Esbjörn Pihlgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Esbjörn Pihlgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Benito Madrid hit a great ball. If Konrad Nyman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
