Zisis Vourlis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Πυργετός Fc's Wit Zapolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thomas Hahn's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Hahn helped the player get up and apologised. Thomas Hahn kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zisis Vourlis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wit Zapolski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zisis Vourlis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 29th minute. Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Πυργετός Fc from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Wit Zapolski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Zisis Vourlis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 72nd minute of play. Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zisis Vourlis. Zisis Vourlis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Zisis Vourlis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute. 82 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Πυργετός Fc's Zisis Vourlis. Zisis Vourlis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wit Zapolski in the 85th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zisis Vourlis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Πυργετός Fc booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
