After a rather tough play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a free kick in the 4th minute. Bandit Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bandit Sarap saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th minute László Salgó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Vérsárkány SE from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nimród Tálas in the 25th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Bandit Sarap made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nimród Tálas in the 33rd minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Puskás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nimród Tálas in the 37th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bandit Sarap was a little too slow when Alberto Tafalla got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bandit Sarap. Bandit Sarap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vérsárkány SE's Máté Kőváry was substituted for László Salgó. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Kőváry in the 60th minute of play. Máté Kőváry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Máté Kőváry. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bandit Sarap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Máté Kőváry's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. 76 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vérsárkány SE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Vérsárkány SE's goalie and right to Luca Rouco. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Vérsárkány SE's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 81st minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bandit Sarap having to interfere. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd match minute, Vérsárkány SE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nimród Tálas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Máté Kőváry in the 96th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vérsárkány SE's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
