Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) 3City United's Remigiusz Mlekodaj started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernt Ånger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernt Ånger made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 7th minute of play forced 3City United's goalkeeper Bernt Ånger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 9th minute. Remigiusz Mlekodaj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. 3City United's Bernt Ånger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Boguslaw Marczyniec kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 in the 13 minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by 3City United's Remigiusz Mlekodaj. But to his dismay, Remigiusz Mlekodaj quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Ecuador booed when 3City United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Musta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Mlekodaj in the 26th minute of the match. Bernt Ånger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Bernt Ånger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Boguslaw Marczyniec hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Bernt Ånger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of the match. If Remigiusz Mlekodaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 53rd minute of play. After taking down the ball on 3City United's corner Boruc Mierzwa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. When Felix Montenegro fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Felix Montenegro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. I Putu Tu, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience was convinced that Boguslaw Marczyniec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. When Aron Musta fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 3City United's protests and gave Aron Musta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th match minute, 3City United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aron Musta to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in 3City United's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernt Ånger came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. I Putu Tu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 3City United's Boguslaw Marczyniec got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81stth minute of the game Boguslaw Marczyniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 84th minute of the match. Dominik Galagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boguslaw Marczyniec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boguslaw Marczyniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
