Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Cyprien Combaz, made in the 6th minute of the game. Adrián Espadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Milagros Fraga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Wennerqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Lano in the 29th minute of play. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Dan Wennerqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 42nd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Soroca F.C. from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hernan Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo was substituted for Amador Venceslao. Cyprien Combaz made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Godofredo Quilino immediately put the ball in play. The throw-in from Godofredo Quilino in the 65th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Hernan Lano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Julian Murillo struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Dan Wennerqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peru. In the 80th minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Zézinho Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Gustavo Tartalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 93 minutes, Milagros Fraga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milagros Fraga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Milagros Fraga might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Wennerqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Milagros Fraga ran back to his position shaking his head. Soroca F.C. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
