The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was a little too slow when Isaias Matas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Isaias Matas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Isaias Matas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was a little too slow when Isaias Matas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 3-0. The audience was convinced that Ömer Demirci's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Michel Hendrickx was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 31st minute KOCAELİSPOR were awarded a corner. Zachary Bienienda went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Maximino Claris heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Şemsettin Tuyuğ stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Matas's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Ömer Demirci made the kick off in the second half. 61 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Matas came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KOCAELİSPOR's Rafet Hazin was substituted for Ediz Tekdoğan. KOCAELİSPOR made a substitution. Aşır Zabit replaced Ömer Demirci. KOCAELİSPOR's Davut Erek was substituted for Boğaçhan Tanır. In the 73rd minute Ervigio Ojeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aşır Zabit received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 78th minute Ervigio Ojeda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 81st minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Olavarria FC's Ervigio Ojeda made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şemsettin Tuyuğ was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Ervigio Ojeda came free, but Şemsettin Tuyuğ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
