After 4 played minutes, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Inaki Mirabal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC reached it. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Todd Gronow in the 10th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 13th minute of play. Ildefonso Foro might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Foro ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the game, Todd Gronow recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Todd Gronow showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Todd Gronow put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Todd Gronow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mao Yan Yong in the 30th minute of the match. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Todd Gronow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Todd Gronow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 39th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Todd Gronow got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 47th minute of play forced Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abram Sarmiento to strike the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Enzo Cope in the 67th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Todd Gronow went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Todd Gronow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute of the match Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Inaki Mirabal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Inaki Mirabal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares did a great save. 80 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Janpier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Mastache. In the 81st minute, Inaki Mirabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Colombia booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inaki Mirabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariusz Ratulowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC had won after a very even match.
