Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joel Gaona kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Delfim Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Bastos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tafalla went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleithon Minuhin in the 13th minute of play. DENVER™'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conrado Paraibano in the 15th minute. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Delfim Bastos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 26th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 28 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Luís Eduardo Araújo. Delfim Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Delfim Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Guilherme Abud could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Guilherme Abud sent off a good shot on target. Nilton Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Nilmar Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guilherme Abud came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the DENVER™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guilherme Abud couldn't finish the play. Luca Zorita hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Nilmar Freitas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-2. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Guilherme Abud made the kick off in the second half. Conrado Paraibano charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Paraibano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 57th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delfim Bastos could save by the left post. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guilherme Abud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Delfim Bastos to make any attempt to save it. DENVER™ made a substitution. Márcio Guedes replaced Nilton Netto. DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 69th minute of play. DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save DENVER™ from getting a goal against them. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delfim Bastos. Delfim Bastos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Nilmar Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delfim Bastos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. After 82 minutes DENVER™'s goalkeeper Delfim Bastos managed, with a little bit of luck, save Joel Gaona's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 82nd minute, Joel Gaona ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim Bastos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. After a defensive mix-up in DENVER™'s zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Bastos came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Conrado Paraibano hit a great ball. With splendid footwork Joel Gaona arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-7 by the left pole in the game's 94th minute. In the 99th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
