The coaching staff of FC Barcelona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mario Vinciguerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The FC Barcelona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 1-2.
