Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Francisco Seco got the match started through his kick off. FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 5th minute of play. If Sydney Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Elroy Kolb got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 11th minute, Sydney Baiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Sydney Baiano got a free kick in the 15th minute. Vitório Goiano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco Seco went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Sydney Baiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Sydney Baiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vitório Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 25th minute, Francisco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uruguay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 27th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Gavin Giacomozzi got a free kick in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Vitório Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match, Gavin Giacomozzi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joaquin Gayoso saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sydney Baiano in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. After 35 minutes, Sydney Baiano made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vitório Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute, FC Barcelona's Mario Vinciguerra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mario Vinciguerra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Barcelona protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mario Vinciguerra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The FC Barcelona players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Uruguay were winning 1-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sydney Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Vitório Goiano managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Uruguay's Francisco Seco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Barcelona's Vitório Goiano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save FC Barcelona from getting a goal against them. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sydney Baiano's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Vitório Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Sydney Baiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elroy Kolb came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the FC Barcelona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elroy Kolb couldn't finish the play.
