Calamuchita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Han Hui was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Han Hui took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 95th match minute, C.A. Calamuchita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leizarraga Villa to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, C.A. Calamuchita could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
