Erlantz Astudillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Hassan Barrow managed to get in a good position for a shot. FriBeRtz Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Hassan Barrow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Xing Zhen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Francisco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Qiu Xing Zhen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gordon Moreland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 20th minute of play forced FriBeRtz Football Club's goalkeeper Qiu Xing Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erlantz Astudillo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 24th minute, Alonzo Weldon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute Jaime Cazalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qiu Xing Zhen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 30th minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Barrow in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Francisco Seco made a precise shot to the right of Qiu Xing Zhen. FriBeRtz Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Qiu Xing Zhen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when FriBeRtz Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodger Dufour didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Feliks Rykaczewski in the 45th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hassan Barrow to make the kick off. Qiu Xing Zhen was a little too slow when Francisco Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-3. Maximiliano Escribano hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hassan Barrow in the 55th minute of play. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Qiu Xing Zhen made a huge save. Erlantz Astudillo hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 65 minutes in the game Louie Galarneau did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gordon Moreland. When Urbain Lunsford fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FriBeRtz Football Club's protests and gave Urbain Lunsford a yellow card for diving instead. Urbain Lunsford kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Hassan Barrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erlantz Astudillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. FriBeRtz Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Qiu Xing Zhen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 84th minute of play. Jaime Cazalla, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 89th minute, Uruguay's Bruno Beldad seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bruno Beldad the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uruguay protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bruno Beldad had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 88 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Uruguay! Erlantz Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The FriBeRtz Football Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Uruguay's performance. The match ended with a win for Uruguay.
