After 4 minutes, Arne Broman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fusk&Bygg AB and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Ralf Sundin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Patrik Blanck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Ralf Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fusk&Bygg AB's supporters rose to their feet, but Ralf Sundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Golang, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Ralf Sundin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Ralf Sundin sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Ralf Sundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Su Premetis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ralf Sundin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. After having played for 35 minutes, Ralf Sundin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fusk&Bygg AB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ralf Sundin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. With a little luck, Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso got control of the ball when Guido Golang tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Fusk&Bygg AB's Ralf Sundin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Camilo Franco got a free kick in the 55th minute. Fusk&Bygg AB's Patrik Blanck managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jorge Sainz in the 59 minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Ralf Sundin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ralf Sundin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Sundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the game Jorge Sainz made a throw-in which Camilo Franco played forward. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ralf Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 72 minutes into the game, Fusk&Bygg AB's Ralf Sundin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Ralf Sundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 played minutes Fusk&Bygg AB got a freekick which was hit by Patrik Blanck. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Ralf Sundin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Ralf Sundin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Fritz Kleen made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Fusk&Bygg AB's Joha Nejmann was substituted for Antonello Romano. Arne Broman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fusk&Bygg AB fully deserved thier win.
