In the 8th minute Renegade AFC were awarded a corner. Bo Krause went to the cornerflag to take it. Renegade AFC's Bo Krause was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jacobo Nores in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 12th minute, Cory Grover got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute Paraguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Pardo went to the cornerflag to take it. Cory Grover received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cory Grover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With splendid footwork Cory Grover arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-0 by the left pole in the game's 20th minute. In the 22nd match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Campos to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Hector Covarrubias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraguay and the Renegade AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cory Grover got free with Jacobo Nores in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raul Venegas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Renegade AFC's Bo Krause tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Raul Venegas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Bo Krause stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Bo Krause tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cory Grover succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Reginald Burns fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. The supporters of Renegade AFC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Grover came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Pardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Prestes having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cory Grover's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Nores was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Xavier Zoido kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Brendon Ivey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Cory Grover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The Renegade AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
