An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 13th minute of play forced Chamaicó's goalkeeper Leonel Cefero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Cefero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match, Gerardo Abeitia tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Manzanares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Chamaicó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerardo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Colombia had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
