After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! Venezuela:s Jonathan Ferrant showed great skill when he stopped Giorgian Arrascaeta:s penalty. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Warren FC - DMZ's Giorgian Arrascaeta got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giorgian Arrascaeta might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Giorgian Arrascaeta ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 42nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Bernardo Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After 47 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Warren FC - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Warren FC - DMZ's José Romero was substituted for Bunda Cagara. In the 48th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giorgian Arrascaeta to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bernardo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgian Arrascaeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89thth minute of the game Giorgian Arrascaeta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgian Arrascaeta in the 92nd minute of play. In the 97th minute Giorgian Arrascaeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Warren FC - DMZ had won after a very even match.
