Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Hilpert's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 7th minute of play forced Rauschken SSA's goalkeeper Radoslaw Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Einari Kuoppala got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Tommy Hilpert sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. In the 13thth minute of the game Tommy Hilpert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Hilpert in the 19th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Tommy Hilpert capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tommy Hilpert really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 26th minute Tommy Hilpert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rauschken SSA were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Radoslaw Witkowski took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Costa Rica's goalie and right to Tosh Mulford. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Costa Rica's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 33rd minute, Rauschken SSA's Fabian Setara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Tosh Mulford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Rauschken SSA's Tosh Mulford. But to his dismay, Tosh Mulford quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 44 minutes into the game, Aaron Alcocer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rauschken SSA the free kick. After 44 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tommy Hilpert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabian Setara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Rauschken SSA's Einari Kuoppala got a free kick in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Rauschken SSA's Tosh Mulford nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tosh Mulford in the 59th minute of play. In the 62nd minute Radoslaw Witkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Setara in the 66th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Tommy Hilpert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. 75 minutes into the game, Tosh Mulford cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Hilpert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Hilpert in the 85th minute of play. Tommy Hilpert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Hilpert came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Rauschken SSA were the better team. Rauschken SSA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
