In the 8th minute Ronaldo Cristi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Knut Utfal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Knut Utfal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marco Day having to make a save. Greid Tinsmith took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Mcdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greid Tinsmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Edward Mcdonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Doffes Damer's Göran Vedholm got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pier Kopacz. In the 34th minute, Göran Vedholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Utfal got free with Marco Day in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marco Day had great luck who in the 39thth minute grab hold of the ball when Ronaldo Cristi from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Herbert Wincek made a great header on Doffes Damer's corner, it was just that USA's Marco Day managed to reach the ball for a save. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Cristi made a kick off. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Knut Utfal in the 58th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Knut Utfal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of USA's Marco Day. Marco Day was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute Knut Utfal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cassius Byrne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Vedholm in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Knut Utfal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doffes Damer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Mcdonald in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaj Lund in the 78th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith got control of the ball when Sam Campbell tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 89 played minutes Doffes Damer got a freekick which was hit by Kaj Lund. USA made a substitution. Marco Baker replaced Edward Mcdonald. After having played for 92 minutes, Khalid Parry managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Khalid Parry was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inge Braa in the 93rd minute of the match. USA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Doffes Damer had won, even though USA had held more of the ball.
