Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ernest Kleinman managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Ontembare Leeuwen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernest Kleinman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th minute, Kevin Newman fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 11th minute of the match, Jacco Hoving got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Heiko Som showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aaron Alcocer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ernest Kleinmans short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kevin Newman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Newman came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Ernest Kleinman got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benito Sanz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Costa Rica's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Kevin Newman 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Jacco Hoving sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heiko Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Alcocer in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39thth minute of the game Kevin Newman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when De Ontembare Leeuwen's Ernest Kleinman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 2-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Kevin Newman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Raymond Heersprink got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Ernest Kleinman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Ernest Kleinman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Kleinman in the 57th minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, De Ontembare Leeuwen's Kevin Newman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernest Kleinman in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Gustavo Anatibia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Newman in the 70th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Kevin Newman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 77thth minute of the game Jacco Hoving who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Kleinman in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st minute Ernest Kleinman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Tasis charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Tasis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 83 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. In the 84th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Tasis to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Newman came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Newman in the 92nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Rubio's late challenge caught a De Ontembare Leeuwen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Rubio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Juan Rubio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. De Ontembare Leeuwen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
