Lázaro Cefero scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 18th minute, Pete Sutcliffe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Sutcliffe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute of the match Marno F.C. got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lázaro Cefero ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Marno F.C.'s corner Pete Sutcliffe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pedro Manzanares quite easily take care of the ball. In the 27th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aldo Beltxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Jokin came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 35th minute of the match. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santino Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Colombia booed when Marno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santino Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Beltxe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The supporters of Colombia booed when Marno F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Beltxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Jokin to make the kick off. Aldo Beltxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zeledon Victoro got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Lázaro Cefero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Aldo Beltxe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 59th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Jokin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Jokin came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marno F.C.'s Aldo Beltxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 67th minute of play. Santino Seco hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Santino Seco hit a great ball. Lázaro Cefero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marno F.C. made a substitution. Zeledon Valiente replaced Igor Jokin. Aldo Beltxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 82nd minute of play. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Valiente in the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Zeledon Valiente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After some careless play in the Marno F.C. defense, Ignacio Mastache kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aldo Beltxe. The Marno F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aldo Beltxe should have stopped the shot. The Marno F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Marno F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
