TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's Alexandre Pontes got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santo Marcos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute. In the 27th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Marcos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 31 minutes into the match, TRICOSHOW F.CLUB's goalkeeper Santo Marcos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. In the 45th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Marcos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Nascimento to make the kick off. Santo Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Luz Tejedor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Marcos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Santo Marcos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 74th minute of the match. Santo Marcos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 76th minute of play. Markus Paul Hattermann got a throw-in 94 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Giuseppe Ramalho. Peru's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
