Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Fontirroig to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Nikos Stasinos fired a really elegant long shot, but Thiago Pliego threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mean Machine's Menios Chloros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute of play. Carles Pujol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Menios Chloros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Emekli in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Ermis Xintarianos hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 24th minute of play forced Mean Machine's goalkeeper Menios Chloros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nedim Emekli's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Thiago Pliego skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 26 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Miltos Makris. In the 29th minute Carles Pujol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Menios Chloros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nedim Emekli's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carles Pujol in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Menios Chloros made a huge save. Thiago Pliego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nedim Emekli went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Menios Chloros in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 68 played minutes Mean Machine got a freekick which was hit by Ermis Xintarianos. Mean Machine made a substitution. Nikos Kioupouroglou replaced Miltos Makris. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Ermis Xintarianos got a free kick in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Daniil Bonoris got a free kick in the 75th minute. Nedim Emekli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Mean Machine's Menios Chloros got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Mean Machine's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 91st minute, Nedim Emekli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
