A collision led to Mean Machine getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Archibaldo Peñaranda hit a great ball. After 13 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. Menios Chloros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 22 minutes, Luca Rouco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mexico and the Mean Machine players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Daniil Bonoris got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 24th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Menios Chloros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's Miltos Makris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Menios Chloros having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Zorita got free with Menios Chloros in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Mean Machine's Ermis Xintarianos got a free kick in the 60th minute. Mean Machine's Nikos Kioupouroglou was substituted for Miltos Makris. Mean Machine made a substitution. Luca Milivojević replaced Lakis Mantarinakis. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Menios Chloros however easily saved by the left post. Mean Machine's Luca Milivojević quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Macos Graciani, made in the 65th minute of the game. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nedim Emekli in the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Menios Chloros. Mean Machine's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 76th minute, Mean Machine's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macos Graciani got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luca Rouco. 85 minutes into the match, Mean Machine's Carles Pujol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lorenzo Cazalla's late challenge caught a Mean Machine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Cazalla helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mexico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 94th minute. Penalty! Dante Lacasa had in the 95thth minute some difficulties stopping Carles Pujol's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
