The Curacao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kyle Davies in the 12th minute of play forced Los Laguneros de AT's goalkeeper Anier Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stanley Wallace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Anier Nisio made a huge save. Anier Nisio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rocco Owen, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Graham in the 23rd minute of play forced Los Laguneros de AT's goalkeeper Anier Nisio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Laguneros de AT's Anier Nisio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Los Laguneros de AT from getting a goal against them. Los Laguneros de AT's Anier Nisio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rocco Owen in the 30th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Fabricio Lop mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Laguneros de AT and the Curacao players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fabricio Lop hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Curacao's Stanley Wallace got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rocco Owen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Nisio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rocco Owen went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Los Laguneros de AT defense, Stanley Wallace kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anier Nisio. The Los Laguneros de AT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anier Nisio should have stopped the shot. After 47 minutes of play, Los Laguneros de AT's Tuta Torres made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Kyle Davies made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Curacao booed when Los Laguneros de AT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Mouzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 56th minute Rocco Owen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Nisio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Nisio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Troy Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Troy Kennedy took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anier Nisio. Anier Nisio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. In the 65th minute, Tuta Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Gerardo Gasteiz made a precise shot to the right of Bruno Barrett. Curacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. Anier Nisio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanley Wallace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Nisio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Davies in the 73rd minute of play. In the 80th minute, Bertie Johnson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 83 played minutes Los Laguneros de AT got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Tiadoro. It was beautiful to see Curacao's Kyle Davies in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Los Laguneros de AT's Fabricio Lop quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jordan Porter, made in the 91st minute of the game. Curacao's Troy Kennedy suffered a sore thigh after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Roberto Mouzo charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Mouzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Curacao's Jaiden Hudson was substituted for Troy Kennedy. There was no doubt that Curacao were the better team. Curacao's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
