Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Ernesto de Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 12th minute. The score was now 1-0. Teobaldo Maldonado kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Ernesto de Souza came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 23 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Botello in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elvio Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernesto de Souza in the 35th minute. If Elvio Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Los pibitos de mardel's Villagra Velis. Villagra Velis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Villagra Velis having to interfere. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ernesto de Souza sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Los pibitos de mardel's Villagra Velis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Los pibitos de mardel from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elvio Mendez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Ermano made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Elvio Mendez. Cosme Botello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ruslan Maslenkin came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los pibitos de mardel's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Higinio Xabat in the 69th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Elvio Mendez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los pibitos de mardel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elvio Mendez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villagra Velis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 75th minute. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Villagra Velis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Xabat, 90 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Elvio Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Elvio Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Los pibitos de mardel had played much better football throughout.
