Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 2nd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bob Cazeneuve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Sinforiano Dobale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MLM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 5th match minute, MLM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sinforiano Dobale to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Tomás Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the MLM defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bob Cazeneuve. The MLM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bob Cazeneuve should have stopped the shot. Bob Cazeneuve made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 19th minute of the match Sinforiano Dobale completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sinforiano Dobale a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 25 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bob Cazeneuve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Almir Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Bob Cazeneuve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Cazeneuve narrowly saved just below the crossbar. MLM made a substitution. Armando Alabern replaced Adolfo Camara. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MLM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Carioca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The MLM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Bob Cazeneuve 56 minutes into the match. With a little luck, MLM's Bob Cazeneuve got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bob Cazeneuve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes MLM's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bob Cazeneuve quite easily take care of the ball. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Ecuador's Luis Andino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Xavian Revuelta hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bob Cazeneuve made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7.
