After a defensive mix-up in Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korkutalp Onkal came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Mehmet Kayaer in the 9th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdi Mehmet Kayaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 17 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Bedri Sungun who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mehmet Bedri Sungun got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's Korkutalp Onkal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Sadikköy Erdoğan FK from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Sadikköy Erdoğan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Bedri Sungun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Sebastián Puig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Korkutalp Onkal having to make a save. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdi Mehmet Kayaer went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Sadikköy Erdoğan FK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Korkutalp Onkal, making the score, 3-1. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korkutalp Onkal having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdi Mehmet Kayaer to strike the kick off in the second half. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abdi Mehmet Kayaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Korkutalp Onkal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korkutalp Onkal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Korkutalp Onkal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdi Mehmet Kayaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korkutalp Onkal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Abdi Mehmet Kayaer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Julio Vera, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdi Mehmet Kayaer got free with Julio Vera in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
