Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Andrea Sabatini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 8 in the game by Janusz Wielowiejski from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jonas Goyo in the 13 minute of the game. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. The supporters of F. C. Clonmels Devils booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Damian Dubiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartlomiej Olejarz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Bartlomiej Olejarz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartlomiej Olejarz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartlomiej Olejarz in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Illescas to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Bartlomiej Olejarz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arévalo Miñaca hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 57 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartlomiej Olejarz in the 66th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Damian Dubiel notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Damian Dubiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Jonas Goyo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F. C. Clonmels Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After a rather tough play, F. C. Clonmels Devils's Jonas Goyo got a free kick in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Bartlomiej Olejarz put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. After 83 played minutes F. C. Clonmels Devils got a freekick which was hit by Pontus Strömberg. Jonas Goyo made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arévalo Miñaca immediately put the ball in play. In the 88th minute of the match F. C. Clonmels Devils got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Dubiel ran over to the corner to take the kick. A hard and well directed shot from Damian Dubiel led 88 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 4-0. The supporters of Venezuela booed when F. C. Clonmels Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turgut Şimşektürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F. C. Clonmels Devils fully deserved thier win.
