Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 39 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Santo Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Quadros. After 42 played minutes Clube Audax Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Dziechciowski. Santo Lano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Clube Audax Metropolitano's Claudinho Quadros got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haisenberg Dolar to make the kick off. Axel Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Lano having to interfere. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Bruno Aleixo was substituted for Claudinho Quadros. After 72 played minutes Clube Audax Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Esteves. Eriberto Netto took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Santo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 85th minute of play. Santo Lano made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Santino Seco sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Netto came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clube Audax Metropolitano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Colombia for a fine match.
