Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artemio Domenech having to interfere. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Gerard Daamen sped through Uruguay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Boca Gregorian Juniors were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robbie Ijksma took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Robbie Ijksma got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin Gayoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Joaquin Gayoso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Daamen in the 19th minute. Artemio Domenech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Boca Gregorian Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim Olofsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerard Daamen got free with Joaquin Gayoso in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes into the match, Boca Gregorian Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Artemio Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 35 played minutes Boca Gregorian Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Wim Oldenborger. Jorge Sainz hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Robbie Ijksma fired a really elegant long shot, but Joaquin Gayoso threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Gerard Daamen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 39thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gerard Daamen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francisco Seco made a kick off. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Artemio Domenech made a huge save. After having played for 52 minutes, Sébastien Haller managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Gregorian Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sébastien Haller was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artemio Domenech saved Boca Gregorian Juniors from getting behind. A.J. Reitsma got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gerard Daamen. In the 58th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Boca Gregorian Juniors were awarded a corner. Robbie Ijksma went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Boca Gregorian Juniors's corner Robbie Ijksma fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. Gerard Daamen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Boca Gregorian Juniors getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. In the 73rd minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Daamen came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Gerard Daamen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Gregorian Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Alberto Gisbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Demy Salens put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Camilo Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Boca Gregorian Juniors's Gerard Daamen in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
