The Tractorul Satulung -MM- fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Mădălin Cangeopol looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute Mădălin Cangeopol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute of the match Tractorul Satulung -MM- got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mugur Cenușă ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37thth minute of the game Mădălin Cangeopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mugur Cenușă who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Mugur Cenușă got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Panait Hațegan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 56th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Panait Hațegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montenegro to a score. 2-1 in the 71st minute. Panait Hațegan made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mădălin Cangeopol in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Luis Andino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Panait Hațegan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86thth minute of the game Mădălin Cangeopol who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Tractorul Satulung -MM- were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
