With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner led io.dasola's Robert Kornasiewicz to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when io.dasola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Falasca didn't get a good kick on the ball. io.dasola's Szczepan Ciechocki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save io.dasola from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. If Robert Kornasiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Ecuador failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
