Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geralt Wilk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Seco to make the kick off. Geralt Wilk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. After some careless play in the Mitschullen SSA defense, Maximiliano Escribano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dobromir Mielak. The Mitschullen SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dobromir Mielak should have stopped the shot. Chants of Mitschullen SSA echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Uruguay had held the ball for most of the match.
