Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Demesio in the 9th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacio Nayely in the 12th minute of play. When Facundo Cadaval came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Facundo Cadaval couldn't finish the play. Vladimiro Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in CSD Pte Derqui's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Leão came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 22 minutes into the match, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vladimiro Leão narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Mao Yuan Hong came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimiro Leão having to make a save. With a little luck, CSD Pte Derqui's Vladimiro Leão got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by CSD Pte Derqui's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that CSD Pte Derqui's Vladimiro Leão managed to reach the ball for a save. Vladimiro Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 59th minute of the match. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Leão having to interfere. CSD Pte Derqui made a substitution. Zacarias Lidon replaced Mao Yuan Hong. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 70th minute, Zacarias Lidon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Pte Derqui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.
