Isac Nebunu made in the 10th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. After a rather tough play, Nanov fc's Nae Tunar got a free kick in the 11th minute. After having played for 13 minutes, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Espiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costel Gugulanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Costel Gugulanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. Felix Hosu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Nanov fc's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Marin Luican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Costel Gugulanu came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Nanov fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Gugulanu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 38th minute. Felix Hosu struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nanov fc. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costel Gugulanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match Nanov fc got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Costel Gugulanu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Nanov fc's corner Costel Gugulanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lautaro Navarro quite easily take care of the ball. In the 57th minute, Luca Espinar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marin Luican prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Hosu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Marin Luican didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. After 72 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Nanov fc's Marin Luican tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Nanov fc getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Bogdan Neguțu hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marin Luican having to make a save. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 79th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Valentín Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentín Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Nae Tunar charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Honduras had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
