In the 19th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chepe Curbelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Allstar United getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Rey Arguiso hit a great ball. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chepe Curbelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, Veronica Cagigal threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Sebastian Villa quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Allstar United booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Ocampo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Veronica Cagigal in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Chepe Curbelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. After 41 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. In the 42nd minute of the match Rey Arguiso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lautaro Navarro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The throw-in from Veronica Cagigal in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chepe Curbelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Leopoldo Termiñon put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Veronica Cagigal in the 81 minute of the game. 82 minutes into the game, Rey Arguiso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Allstar United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of play forced Allstar United's goalkeeper Chepe Curbelo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Allstar United had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
