The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Lawrence in the 14th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Mario Lawrence cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 19 minutes into the match, Mao Yuan Hong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mao Yuan Hong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Demesio in the 22nd minute of play. Vladimiro Leão made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vladimiro Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute. After having played for 34 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. CSD Pte Derqui's Vladimiro Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save CSD Pte Derqui from getting a goal against them. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Leão having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Demesio in the 40th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes Mexico's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelo Demesio who took care of the corner kick. In the 42ndth minute of the game Mao Yuan Hong who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 51st minute of play forced CSD Pte Derqui's goalkeeper Vladimiro Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vladimiro Leão. Vladimiro Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When CSD Pte Derqui's Angelo Demesio in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimiro Leão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. CSD Pte Derqui made a substitution. Zacarias Lidon replaced Mao Yuan Hong. In the 65th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Cazalla to maneuver through the defense. Zacarias Lidon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute. Luca Zorita made a great header on Mexico's corner, it was just that CSD Pte Derqui's Vladimiro Leão managed to reach the ball for a save. Vladimiro Leão came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Luca Zorita. But to his dismay, Luca Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Leão having to interfere. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Zacarias Lidon sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zacarias Lidon. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Leão having to interfere. After 90 played minutes CSD Pte Derqui got a freekick which was hit by Roque Martxel. Joel Gaona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Leão having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the CSD Pte Derqui players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mexico.
