Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Olli Fiedler made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 8th match minute, Sportivo Luan Toro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuri Castillejo to maneuver through the defense. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Davison read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The corner ended in Luz Tejedor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison did a great save. In the 13th minute, Julian Murillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Davison was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 17th minute, Olli Fiedler reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rolando Noboa. The goal made the score 1-2. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Peru's goalie and right to Alberto Fidencio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Peru's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sergius Ramus who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Sportivo Luan Toro's corner Sergius Ramus fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

In the 53rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Sportivo Luan Toro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julian Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Robert Davison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! Sportivo Luan Toro were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sergius Ramus took the corner. In the 73rd minute of the match, Luz Tejedor sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Robert Davison showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Luan Toro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. Peru's Emmanuel Reyes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Davison in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Peru booed when Sportivo Luan Toro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuri Castillejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes Sportivo Luan Toro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. In the 80th minute Jo Barone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sportivo Luan Toro were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sergius Ramus took the corner. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martins Palermo in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the game, Sportivo Luan Toro's Martins Palermo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Martins Palermo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sportivo Luan Toro's zone, Antonio Tenorio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Davison came out of the goal and Antonio Tenorio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sportivo Luan Toro.
