Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Czempa in the 3rd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Czempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 13th minute of the match. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Czempa in the 18th minute of play. Karol Czempa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florin Logofătu was slow to take the kick. During this time Progresul Pitesti's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Florin Logofătu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Progresul Pitesti's Karol Czempa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Progresul Pitesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Karol Czempa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresul Pitesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Karol Czempa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucian Panțuru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Karol Czempa struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progresul Pitesti. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Tudor having to interfere. Chorache Tofiño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. If Lucian Panțuru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 58 played minutes Progresul Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by Leonard Moise. After having played for 61 minutes, Lucian Panțuru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Progresul Pitesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucian Panțuru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Karol Czempa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Lucian Panțuru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute Karol Czempa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ezkerra Villasana's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ezkerra Villasana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 87th minute, Tomas Illescas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Tudor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Chorache Tofiño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Karol Czempa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Progresul Pitesti were the better team. Progresul Pitesti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
