Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angelo Demesio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Demesio in the 5th minute of play. Cristian Sancho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 7th minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roque Martxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The corner ended in Hipolito Emenon almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Leão having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Vladimiro Leão in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute of the match CSD Pte Derqui got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benjamin Tadzio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 39th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Mao Yuan Hong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mao Yuan Hong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, CSD Pte Derqui's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Vladimiro Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CSD Pte Derqui fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when CSD Pte Derqui's Angelo Demesio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mao Yuan Hong in the 63rd minute of play. Angelo Demesios short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 67th minute of play forced CSD Pte Derqui's goalkeeper Vladimiro Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. CSD Pte Derqui's Vladimiro Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 75th minute of play. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. After having played for 80 minutes, Juan Sebastián Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Sebastián Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th match minute, CSD Pte Derqui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roque Martxel to maneuver through the defense.
