Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute Florin Logofătu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Tudor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 8th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Martin Tudor to make any attempt to save it. Martin Tudor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 14th minute. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Martin Tudor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Tudor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute. The corner ended in Agustín Saelices almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor did a great save. 25 minutes into the game, Luis Andino lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Martin Tudor. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Martin Tudor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucian Panțuru, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute. Felix Montenegro had several of the Progresul Pitesti's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 35 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Martin Tudor as he didn't even see the shot coming. Daniel Zorita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Martin Tudor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martin Tudor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Karol Czempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 58th minute of play forced Progresul Pitesti's goalkeeper Martin Tudor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Tudor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After 67 played minutes Progresul Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Marinică. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. In the 75th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Tudor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 76th minute of play. Martin Tudor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Chorache Tofiño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Tudor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Chorache Tofiño struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Progresul Pitesti. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Progresul Pitesti's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Tudor came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 minutes, Vintilă Marinică mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Progresul Pitesti and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ecuador made a substitution. Luz Palacio replaced Daniel Zorita. Vintilă Marinică hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
