Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Templars FC's Ziya Onur Muzaffer got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Templars FC's André Courtois. André Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ziya Onur Muzaffer hit a great ball. André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 15th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan Sammut in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Courtois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 26 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Sammut. A well-hit corner resulted in Jack Nicholson heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Templars FC's André Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Colombia's Orlando Tafalla to fire away a dangerous shot which André Courtois despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Jonathan Sammut came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Templars FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Sammut couldn't finish the play. Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over André Courtois. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan Sammut got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Sammuts short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Pedro Manzanares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 47th minute Templars FC were awarded a corner. Adelino Marques went to the cornerflag to take it. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Sammut to make the kick off. Orlando Tafalla made in the 51st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santino Seco however managed to control. Templars FC's André Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Templars FC from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Sammut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the game Orlando Tafalla made a throw-in which Santino Seco played forward. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staffan Apelqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Jonathan Sammut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Jonathan Sammut ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Templars FC's Márk Kovács was substituted for Jonathan Sammut. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Templars FC made a substitution. Martin Manicolo replaced Benedict Cumberbatch. 79 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Staffan Apelqvist came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Templars FC were awarded a corner. Adelino Marques went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Templars FC's André Courtois got control of the ball when Abram Secada tried to sneak it across the goal line. André Courtois made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Santino Seco sent off a good shot on target. Evan Vancell made in the 88th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. The supporters of Colombia booed when Templars FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ziya Onur Muzaffer didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Templars FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
