Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Radomil Bielatowicz started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanislav Satinský made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Stanislav Satinský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niek Wander. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur Rakiewicz in the 11th minute of the match. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artur Rakiewicz was slow to take the kick. During this time MZKS Sharks Gdynia's players had a chance to rest. Stanislav Satinský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 14th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stanislav Satinský saved MZKS Sharks Gdynia from getting behind. Niek Wander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. When Ecuador's Felix Montenegro in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goalie prevented a goal. Stanislav Satinský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 24th minute of play. Stanislav Satinský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Stanislav Satinský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Niek Wander sent off a good shot on target. After 34 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanislav Satinský was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 38th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Antonio Arias to fire away a dangerous shot which Stanislav Satinský despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Remigiusz Cempa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Radomil Bielatowicz's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Stanislav Satinský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, MZKS Sharks Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niek Wander to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Stanislav Satinský reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Rakiewicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislav Satinský made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. With a little luck, MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Stanislav Satinský got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Stanislav Satinský made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. After 70 minutes, Agustín Saelices made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Stanislav Satinský tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. MZKS Sharks Gdynia's Gao Gang was substituted for Anthony Lucentini. In the 81st match minute, MZKS Sharks Gdynia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Rakiewicz to maneuver through the defense. Niek Wander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Bielatowicz in the 93rd minute of play. If Radomil Bielatowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MZKS Sharks Gdynia throughout the match.
