Aurel Vuşcan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. The ARCADA FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 2-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lautaro Mancebo to strike the kick off in the second half. One of ARCADA FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. Joel Gaona walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th match minute, ARCADA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Hârtopanu to maneuver through the defense. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Luca Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Vlădean having to interfere. Mexico played a much better game than ARCADA FC and deserved their victory. The ARCADA FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
