The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Jurand Sidorowicz in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28thth minute of the game Manoel Vianna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joshua Secada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurand Sidorowicz having to interfere. C.A.D.A.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
