Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ashley Ross took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aithan Dalahl got free with Lennie Rusby in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Ingram in the 7th minute of play forced U21 England's goalkeeper Lennie Rusby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Eduard Micineanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lennie Rusby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Albert Fitzgerald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CAFC1905 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. CAFC1905's Leandro Gombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Ross in the 21st minute of play. U21 England's Lennie Rusby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save U21 England from getting a goal against them. Leandro Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Ross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennie Rusby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ross Ingram in the 31st minute of play. Lennie Rusby made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Albert Fitzgerald sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, CAFC1905's goal looked a bit too open when Ashley Ross came free, but Leandro Gombal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, U21 England's Lennie Rusby got control of the ball when Albert Fitzgerald tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 46th match minute, U21 England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Thomas to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute of the match, Albert Fitzgerald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lennie Rusby was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Micineanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ashley Ross received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Leandro Gombal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Higgins in the 58th minute of play forced CAFC1905's goalkeeper Leandro Gombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cecilio Fagildo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CAFC1905's protests and gave Cecilio Fagildo a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the CAFC1905 defense, Ashley Ross kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Gombal. The CAFC1905 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Gombal should have stopped the shot. Leandro Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Ross, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ray Titmuss hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the CAFC1905 defense, Ashley Ross kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leandro Gombal. The CAFC1905 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leandro Gombal should have stopped the shot. Leandro Gombal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alastair Dunn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Gombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ashley Ross went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. CAFC1905's Brynn Meade was substituted for Ray Titmuss. CAFC1905's Eduard Micineanu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CAFC1905's Gregory Tompkins was substituted for Ross Ingram. The CAFC1905 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching U21 England's performance. The match ended with a win for U21 England.
