Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Salerno started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Swatar United FC's Cem Güler got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 8th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the game Chiratorn Wongsanam made a throw-in which Owen Grech Cumbo played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Salerno in the 20th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Swatar United FC got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chiratorn Wongsanam ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Swatar United FC's corner Chiratorn Wongsanam fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. In the 33rd minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patryk Siekierski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Swatar United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cem Güler to maneuver through the defense. Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 37th minute of play. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 50 played minutes Swatar United FC got a freekick which was hit by Mario Salerno. When Swatar United FC's Mario Salerno in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Patryk Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patryk Siekierski having to interfere. When Swatar United FC's Mario Salerno in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Swatar United FC from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Swatar United FC's Neil Micallef. But to his dismay, Neil Micallef quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Neil Micallef came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Patricio Costa came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Costa couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Salerno in the 81st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Mario Salerno put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alex Chicote hit a great ball. After 94 minutes of play, Swatar United FC's Mario Salerno made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Swatar United FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
