The shot was stopped by Jonathan Ferrant but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Filip Soetemans tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guillermo Mariano made in the 26th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Atilla Sayyad. After 28 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. The crowd rose to their feet as Fenerbahce ISTANBUL's Filip Soetemans slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-0 after 32 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filip Soetemans in the 36th minute. In the 42nd minute, Filip Soetemans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Lauaxeta in the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Soetemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. 82 minutes into the match, Filip Soetemans notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
